Returns, condition & warranty

We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.

Please carefully review the product photos, condition description and specifications before purchasing.

Most of our fishing gear is pre-owned.

Every pre-owned item is individually inspected, photographed and described before being listed. We will clearly state any known faults, damage, significant wear or missing accessories in the product listing.

Normal signs of previous use — scratches, cosmetic marks, faded finishes or general wear — are not considered defects where they have been clearly shown or described.

No additional warranty is provided on pre-owned items. This does not affect any rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

B-grade items may have cosmetic imperfections, damaged or missing packaging, or other condition issues.

Any known issues will be described and/or shown in the product listing.

The condition shown and described forms an important part of the product information. Our grading scale sets out what each grade covers.

If you believe an item is faulty or materially different from its description, contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photos or video showing the issue.

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy where required under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Some of our products are brand new. New products are covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.

Where a manufacturer’s warranty is provided, it applies according to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions. Manufacturer warranties vary between products, brands and warranty periods.

A manufacturer’s warranty does not replace or limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If you have an issue with a new product, contact us first so we can help work out the appropriate next step.

For products such as fishing line, hooks and other consumable items, we do not accept change-of-mind returns once the product has been opened or used.

Any rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act are not affected.
